they also won best Head Unit over $1100 for the XXV-01D.

i should have a review up for it soon too :D

How long till the review is done on the XXV-01D?
as i am pretty curious about other peoples ideas on this headunit.

i am around 95% done, just got to get all my facts right and then get it editor to go through it :D

i would say monday or tuesday if everything go's to plan :)

I got a an XXV-01D about a week ago. I'm pretty impressed with it. You can completely bypass the DSP in the unit to have just straight audio out, very cool. Buttons are a bit fiddley but it is heaps easier to use than other headunits Kenwood have made in the past.
